Typically, the landscapes are of the Southwest.   Murals Gallery 3 These murals were commissioned by cities and organizations and are located in the cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, and Orange in California.   Orange Barrio Cypress Gallery 4 These paintings are representative of the Barrio where Emigdio grew up. Portraits Gallery 5 These portraits depict many of the world's political activists.   Still Life Gallery 6 Many of these paintings were commissions; and are a favorite subject matter of Emigdio.   Street People Gallery 7 These paintings are a study of the gritty nature of street life; and portray real people that were living in Southern California.   Street Scenes Gallery 8 These paintings were derived from photographs that Emigdio shot in the Orange County area.   Workers Gallery 9 These paintings chronicle the working class; and serve as a cultural and historical art record.   Zoot Suit and Pachucos Gallery 10 These paintings illustrate both a time in Emigdio's youth and an idealized characterization of an era .
